    Chance At Different Engine.

    I have a 1980 Bass Tracker II with a 35hp Johnson Long Shaft on it. I have a chance to purchase a Johnson 50hp short shaft for it. I am wondering if a short shaft will work for my boat? Don't know much about either long or short shaft, but this 50hp is a good deal, so I don't want to pass it up...
