Yea, I have the GPS units as well, just don't like things that don't work ;) My next one is my water pressure gauge. Pulled out of storage and the needle is working backwards from 30 psi when off to 20 psi when running. Stream is steady out of motor though.

Found it. It was so packed with debris that it was easy to miss. Used the drill bit, cleaned it out as best I could. Next time on water will be the test. Thanks all for the tip.

I found a set at Great Lakes Skipper ( but in their store ) for my 2002 188 Sport. You could check online or give them a call. If I couldn't find a match I was about to make the hole larger to fit a std speaker. Good luck.

My 2002 trailer has rusted through and a cross member has cracks on both sides. I am looking at replacement trailers, used and new. I am wondering if others have gotten a replacement trailer and the bunks were not the same as the stock trailer. Does this matter? Any experiences. A new...

You need to take off the c rings on the two pins, then tap out the pins. The assembly can be pulled forward. You will need to detach the brake line to the solenoid before hand. On my 2002, I couldn't get one of the pins out. There are some videos on YouTube that show how to replace the cable...

Here is where I mounted mine on my 2002 188 FS. No issues. I do have a Y-cable to use the in-hull transducer when on plane.

I believe you will get a down image view, but it is made up from interpreting the side image data. So not the same down image as MDI, but you do get one.

Sorry for taking so long to reply, sent you a private message too. Basically, just slide them forward, remove the front screws and slide them back and remove the rear screws and leave the mount.

My terrova did not have a heading sensor puck, so I didn't need to figure that one out. I probably would have mounted in behind the front panel at the bow of the boat.

If I remember, mine are also held on with nuts. I did tighten my back one which was loose before I mounted my TM. I think I laid in the front compartment and could reach them with a wrench to hold them as they were tightened.

On mine, it locks in with a small pin through a shaft. I could actually remove the entire aluminum plate by loosening the back fastener and turning the entire thing and it will pull out. So I didn't put any screws into the fiberglass, just mounted the minn kota bracket to the aluminum bracket...

I replaced my seats on my 2002 188 Sport with a set from bassboatseats.com, very happy with them. The set didn't come wide enough to fit perfectly, but worked well enough for me.

How was the install? Holding up well?

I have the exact issue on my 2002 188. I bought some windshield adhesive to attempt to glue the glass back in but I don't think that is the solution. I am hesitant to glue it since it will just glue glass to the rubber gasket. I have got it back into the gasket and track and am just watching...
