Actually after doing more digging....I'm not so sure that the Premium maps will work on my Eagle unit.

I have an Eagle FishElite 480 grey scale w/GPS. I have a Lowrance HotSpots Elite map card in the unit and was wondering if the Navionics HotMaps Premium card would have that much more detail than the HotSpots card. Both cards are from about the same year (2006-2007). Thanks.

I saw your video Charles.....clever indeed...! My serial number for my motor is 1B583657. Supposedly is a 2008 model.

All three models show to have the same wiring diagram. But it only shows the two sets of wires for the batteries and the AC cord. This is a 2 bank 12 V system. Just two batteries.

I would have to take the charger out to see. It is mounted in the boat. The manual, which is general, has 3 models listed on the front cover that are 8 amp. 2607A-B-TR 2607A-B-01 and 2607A-B-02 and two models that are 10 amp.

I have the Guest owner's manual pamphlet that came with the boat when I bought it (I got all the paperwork with the boat from when it was new). It shows the wiring diagrams but only shows the wires going to the batteries and the AC wire. Doesn't even show these wires in the manual.

Thanks for the replies. I did use a breaker...mounted on the post of the battery, then the tm cable mounts to it. I have decided to just leave the battery in the back so I don't have to do any mods to the boat. One other thing about the boat that puzzles me is...there is no cigarette lighter...
