I have the nitro cover that came with my 640, I believe it is a "trailer cover". It doesn't snap on. I use two 1" dowels cut to fit ( about 18" long ) in the front and rear seat mounting holes. These fit into a 2 1/4" PVC plumbing pipe that runs the length of the boat. This effectively...

One that fits in the storage compartment under the passenger seat. I had the boat a year before I found out it was there. The previous owner left me a nice anchor in there.

Thanks for that tip. If it works, it's an easy fix. I'm no longer up at the lake but I'll go up mid-week to try it out. I'm only 5'5" , 160lbs and don't know how anyone larger can fit under the dash to poke around.:lol:

I have the same engine as well and follow what Mike does but with the fast idle advanced just a bit. Mine never starts first time without the throttle being advanced. Once warmed up the engine fires up right away.

Caddy SRX the 2012 have the new V6 with 308hp and lots of torque. I looked at all the suv's in that price range and really like the style of the Caddy. I have not been disappointed

Thanks, I don't want to be under powered. I towed this rig with my Honda Element with the 4cyl 2.4L engine and it was barely manageable.
