Thanks for your support Thommo59. It is now June 2018. I sold the Nitro Z6 and after all the problems with her, I have to say, I would never buy another Nitro/Tracker branded boat. I'm "negotiating" about buying a "real" boat (Crestliner) with a sealed rub rail. ... :)
I'd like to say Merry Christmas to my buddies on the old NitroOwners site and especially one ole Aussie who helped a guy in NC (me) figure out (and fix) the problems with my 2011 Z6. Thanks mate.
The last two times I had my 2011 Z6 on the water she would stumble and lose power at 3/4 throttle... badly. I couldn't figure it out because I had VERY few hours on the boat/motor. Then I thought .... maybe that's the problem: maybe I should treat the boat/motor like it's been stored for awhile...
Hi guys. I thought I would pass along some info to my fellow Nitro bass boat owners. I've been trying to find a transom drain plug for my 2011 Z6 and it's been quite an adventure. Tracker Marine has discontinued the plug that I need for my boat. The plug on the Bass Pro site is the wrong plug...
Loaded with lots (LOTS) of extras, always in boat port, covered, and hardly used. E-mail me at [email protected]. Raleigh, NC area. Will consider trade for your $20,ooo +- Mustang convertible. I'm 67 yo. Time for a new toy. :-)
I have to agree with TOXIC on this one ..... 303 Aerospace Protectant works great and so does Bass Boat Saver. I Collonite the hull twice a season, use 303 AP on just about everything else, including seats, and just an overall spray with BB Saver on the upper half in between trips to the lake...
Hey MikePotter .... When I ordered my 2011 Z6 in May 2011 - with all the upgrades - I also ordered a port side console. "Standard color". I waited 13 weeks for it to be delivered to the boat dealer where I bought the Z6 and they installed it in September 2011. Nice fit - looks great .... cost...
Ok guys. I'll post back here after I get back on the water and let you know what I think of the DocKey. ....
Cruel and unusual weather in NC this year. :) .... also I'd just like to say it's good to see some old vets on this site. I was USN 1965 to 1972 and never saw a ship .... worked at NSA...
Have any of you guys and gals had to use the "ladder" to get back into your bass boat? The reason I'm asking is because I went overboard a few years ago trying to reach for my icy rod that slipped out of my hand and got away from me. (ice out in VT). Next thing I knew I was floundering in 42...
Hey guys. I hope this subject/product hasn't been discussed on the board yet (I searched but I didn't get any hits). Anyway I was wondering if any of you have any experience with THE DOCK KEY. (I have nothing to do with the product).
I ordered a couple of Dock Keys because it seemed like a good...
Thanks for confirming my initial reaction to taking the Z to the coast, Scott. I'm going to leave the boat at home in the boat-port and I'll tell my "kids" and grand-kids to go fish off the pier. (or something).
Hi again guys, I have a serious question. My "extended" family (whom I love to the heart of my bottom) wants to do a two week vacation at Kure Beach in NC and they all want me to bring my Z-6 so they can fish and jump off from it, (scratch it, gouge it, stain the carpet) etc. .. in the ocean. I...
I've got to agree with Scott Hammer/Toxic .... only thing is - I won't fish a Senko until they start moving off the beds (5-8') ... and that could be any time - depending on weather, water clarity, etc. SECRET #2 .... 6" Senko (any dark color), rigged "wacky", not Tex posed or Tex rigged...
I use to carry a Glock 30 and thought I was "safe". After manual of arms and memory training I now feel MUCH safer with my "1911 Style" P938. The trigger can not be pulled with a cocked and locked P938..... period. The safety release is "firm and in place" yet quickly "flicked" off when the...
Ok guys and gals, I'm getting pretty old. So it's time I revealed the BEST way to catch bass in eastern NC in April and May. (sometimes early June and late March). Put 'em right back in the water, close to where you caught 'em and they'll be fine.
Zoom 6" Watermellon/Seed Lizard rigged on a...
