Its a pain,and it seems like forever,but they have a reason for this procedure,you would be well advised to follow it to the letter.

congrats.they are great fishing boats,just dont get so excited that you overlook the proper engine break in procedure,good fishing.

On board,the convienance is worth the price,and dont get a larger amp charger than you really need,my z7 came with a two bank 6 amp onboard,works great,dont boil the acid outa the batteries,and recharges my 24 volt system in a couple of hours.

If yur a little low on oil,when you power up to plane, the oil pump will suck a little air,then you get a beep,just a thought.

These newer pickups with 4x4 dont get much worse miles per gal,than a 2x2, i use mine alot in fla where i fish many many small orange grove lakes with sand ramps,resale value,4x4 will sell twice as fast as a 2x2,and for about a 1,000 bucks more,id never consider a p/u,that was not 4x4.

my 150 pro xs is mounted in the thired hole from the top,what hole is yours mounted in,bass pro shop in orlando had mine mounted in the 2nd hole frm the top,third is much better,wondering if 4th hole from the top might be the ticket

I know exactly how you feel,my z7 does the same thing,you get up over 60 mph,when this thing should really start performing,and it starts going out of control,you can cure the problem,as some sugjest by running 3/4 throttle,or as some sugjest,buy a smaller boat with a 60 on it,the fact remains...

Before I bought my 2011 Z7,I had a concrete slab poured,and a carport built,I also bought a cabellas best boat cover 200 + dollars,if you aint going to take care of them,you must not appreciate them.

I like the Z6s,but I went for a Z7 because of the 115 hp limit,had I opted for a Z6 though,id have upgraded to a 24 volt tm system,shame you cant get a Z6 with a 135 opti on it,like you could on the NX 750s.

I agree with hooksetter,lakes are too crouded anyway,especially on the weekends,when the cheating contests are in session,oops I mean tournaments,it is difficult for sport fishermen to get to the launching ramps.

Nice fish,I retired to polk co.Fl.10 years ago,just because of what you guys are holding,great fishing down here,beutiful scenery,lots of lakes,and they all have fish in them.

If money is not an object,and you have a tow vehicle that will pull,and heavy enough to stop a z7 when trailoring,I think you will be dissappointed with the aluminum boat,get you a z7 with a 150 proxs,you will be glad you did.
