The two biggest mistakes I made on buying my 189 was the 115 merc and the 12 volt trolling motor. I still have the Merc, but I upgraded to 24 last year and used the new one for two days, made the world of difference!

I had this problem all the time on my 189, especially with the cover on. Sometimes I would have to wait 10 mins for it to clear it was so bad.

I replaced my trolling motor with a larger motor and added another battery for 24v. I cannot believe the difference, bracket was the same size as I went to another motor guide. Wish I would have started with this motor and also started with a 150 merc instead of the 115

Does anyone know where to get a tail light assembly for this trailer, or anyone have the parts number for the newer LED models for a set or right hand light for the trailer. thank you in advance.
