    Interior Hull problems

That was what I told them, but they swear the foam they use won't absorb water. I also told them I needed something in writing that explained the problem and the recommended solution, so it is on record that they said to do this, so I don't lose warranty for anything else.

    Interior Hull problems

That reply WAS from customer service @ tracker marine...the nationwide version. Local dealer is and never has been any help with any issues. Still hoping, but waning fast......................

    Interior Hull problems

Well, the answer from them as of right now is......."drill a hole and fill the void with expanding foam" How's that for customer service ?? They no longer seem interested in figuring out how or why, just in giving me the above answer for the fix.

    Interior Hull problems

Well, spoke to Customer Service today on a conference call with one of their engineers at the plant, and they gave me a few things to check on while trying to determine how the water is getting in. They/I still have no clue how the water is getting in there, but we have a plan of sorts to...

    Interior Hull problems

Not much of an update, but I have been talking to tracker customer assistance about getting something that shows what is under the false floor & how the space is constructed to try & figure out how the water is getting in there, and where all it is. They seem to be trying to help, but time...

    Interior Hull problems

I am. Just trying to get my ducks in a row so to speak. Plan on getting a couple of other estimates/causes then I will approach tracker directly and see what they do. So far I am being told the water is getting in thru the screw holes. Well, they made them when they mounted the battery...

    Interior Hull problems

Well, got the call today to be there in 20 min to meet with the service manager and the fiberglass guy they had look at the hull. Nice forewarning eh ?? Anyway, the service manager said it is up to me to contact tracker now, as they told her it is not structural, and they aren't fixing it...

    Interior Hull problems

Yes, but I am trying to go step by step. See what the dealer will or won't do for me, then go from there.

    Interior Hull problems

Trying to set up an appointment with the manager and the fiberglass repair guy who claims nothing is wrong. Anyway, they are trying to say the issues I am having are normal, and the water is getting in thru a screw hole for the battery plate. I am saying BS, as that screw hole normally has a...

    Interior Hull problems

Well, it's at the dealer/BPS where I bought it new. They freaked out when I showed them where the water was coming from. And it's not as much a matter of sealant, as it is 'holes' in the resin coverage of the fiberglass when it was made.

    Interior Hull problems

I found this tonight, and left a message at the dealer since they were closed. They know me there, and no I don't BS. My fear is that the runners and all on that side of the hull are soaked. No damage outside the hull or inside that I can see that would have let this happen short of not...

    Boat cover question

A couple of wal-mart beach balls, 1 on the front deck and one on the back deck should do fine. You can deflate them and carry them with you easily too if ya want.

    just purchaed Z7

With a 150, it should do mid 60's once set up. Mine, with the 200, has been up to 74 mph, and there was still rpm left, but not enough water to run it out. I regularly run it up to the 70-72 mph range, depending on which prop I have on at the time. My Bravo 1 25p will get me to 70, and...

    dead livewell

TOXIC's trick can also be used when you aerator pumnp dies. On my boat, the only way to get water in the livewell is the aerator, and when it went out once during a TX, I just pumped the livewell down 1/2 way and backed up under moderate power for a few minutes to refill the live well every...

Still having trouble loading the Z6

You have to figure out how deep to dunk the trailer. The nose being under the roller means you had the trailer too deep. The boat kicking to one side or the other at the last minute is a trailer too deep as well. I dunk mine all the way in to wet the bunks, then I pull up until the...

How bad is my prop (see photos)

If your prop is sharp enough to cut your finger on, then the 1st time it contacts ANYTHING, the edge will fold over. You want it 'sharp' (ie not flat spots or dings), but not so sharp as to cut your finger. If you want to know if it can be fixed, check out this post & work (about 1/2 way...

How often am I supposed to do maintenance on our boat?

For me: 1. Check/replace fuel filter inline under cowling (replace yearly) 2. Pull and check spark plugs (note: hand tight +

    WHAT MAKES A TRANSOM WORK?

There are also runners that go from the transom forward that are attached to the bottom of the hull which spread the load as well.

loading a bass boat without power loading

I also have a Z-7, and if I do as yall say (1" of the fender showing above water), I'll never get the boat loaded. I know, I tried that once, and I now have 2 nice indentations in my bow rubrail from the bow roller side plates. I back mine in fully to wet all the bunks, then pull up until...
