Better now thanks. Heart attack took me off the boat for a while, not sure how I ended up away from NTOWS for so long. Chace, 3-tear old in the avatar, has me fishing regular again. That kid will cast all day. Nice small lies, wish we had those in large numbers around here.

My Table Rock expert was just talking about this today. He recommended getting off the main lake and put the Carolina rig to bed. He talked about fishing the standing timber and the long secondary points, getting into the longer creek channels.

Might be some missing sealant, loose cap, ... Not sure waht you mean by leave it in the sun all day and nothing works -- that doesn't make sense. No issues with my Nitro, local BPS, or Tracker marine. highly recommend.

You folks must live in areas with a lot of ne'er-do-wells. I've gone into sit down restaurants with the boat parked out of view and never had a thing taken. Now, either we're all honest folks out here in Kansas or I don't have anything worth taking.

I don't think it would weaken the skeg; it really doesn't add any stress to an already unstressed area. Only thing that really stresses a skeg is hitting a rock at speed ... :lol::wacko::lol::wacko::lol:. Skegshield or no ... that skeg would be gone!

Not really anything to help ... but a quick stop at the nearest car wash after coming off the lake keeps me water line free.

I only throw the cover on if I think it is going to rain. Any travel damage is usually a rock to the hull -- cover doenst protect against that.

As am I FATRAP, as am I ... and for the record, over the course of my 27 years, 10 months AD I did serve with some very fine AF officers and airmen ... as you indicate, serving is serving! ;)
