Well, I turn 40 in a few weeks and my girlfriend has financed a fishing trip for the both of us. We leave March 12th for Lake Amistad!! She has gotten me a guide for a day and rented a boat for the rest of the time. Should be a totally awesome week. I'll post some pics when I get back.

yeah, it was so bad that day.........we didn't go back for the weigh in. Just pulled in a cove where there was a store and ramp. got someone to take us back to the tow vehicle. Some days it's just not worth the risk.

I've not been active on the board since I fished a BFL with Rob LaMoy a few years ago at 1000 islands......boy was those waves big out on the main lake.....whew. And my first post back......i mess it up.....lol

Figured I would add my name to the list of participants. I fished with Paul Brugger, great guy. He finished with 15-15 for 7th place on the boater side. I finished 9th on the co-angler side with 12-7. With 2 hours left we both only had two fish in the boat. Then we hit a nice wind blown...

hey jim: we fish some of the same lakes.....I only used it for like 3 lakes this past year. but it was nice, each year they add new lakes. the base map in the unit helps as well. although it shows you on land sometimes, that works for me. All i want to know is where all my humps are. Bizer...

I have this unit on my bow and love it. Have the fishelite 320 on console. they are awesome. finally learning how to use one properly so maybe that's making the difference. I would highly recommend them. Let me know if you have any specific questions.

don't waste your time in bay of fundy. I would start in neals cove and all the little islands just outside that cove. Then the shoreline on the right side of the dam. Then back to the main lake for some docks. Good luck.
